Gentlemen: –

Replying to your letter of April 4th, I am pleased to enclose, herewith, my application for membership in the Population Association of America, as suggested by Dr. Raymond Pearl.

I am greatly Interested in population as the foundation material out of which organized societies are formed. I have no doubt mem­bership in your Association will be of great interest and advantage to me in this connection.
