Carbon of a letter to Clarke G. Daily, President, The Alliance Realty Company, 25 Broad Street, New York NY
April 5, 1941
Dear Mr. Daily:
It gave me a great deal of pleasure to have your company and talk at considerable length, as we did recently in New York.
I know that my suggestions regarding the possibility of making real estate enormously profitable must seem visionary as, indeed, they are in the best and proper sense of the word. There is, of course, such a thing as a plodding success when the stream of affairs carries us along. But the greatest and best success comes to those who have the farthest as well as the truest sight. Great ideas are not to be understood much less to be put in practice by little men.
Am making arrangements to be in New York again probably for a week, beginning April 15th. Remembering your suggestion that we should have some further talk upon my return to New York, I look forward to it with very much pleasure.
As stated above, I will be there for some days beginning with April 15th, and hope to find a place reserved for me somewhere on your busy calendar.
Sincerely yours,
Spencer Heath
