Letter to Mrs. Loomis
December 15, 1955
Dear Mrs. Loomis:
Many thanks for your kind letter of December 9th and your reference to Mr. Hartwick with his plan for citizen payment for government for value when and as received. This is perfectly ideal if he has discovered how government can function in the market and deliver its goods on the basis of value received like any other services.
It is my own expectation that this will happen through the organization of real estate, in local communities to begin with, by the separate owners merging their titles in a corporation and running the community out of its market values and revenues just like a hotel.
I trust everything is flourishing at Lane’s End Homestead and sincerely hope you and all yours will have a beautiful Christmas.
Cordially,
Have written to Mr. Hartwick
