Every action or event is composite of these three basic elements of actuality combined in some magnitudes or dimensions as measured by reference to these three units and in some definite proportion among themselves. The magnitude or over-all dimension of any action or event is the product of these three dimensions of mass, motion and time; and the quality or character — the kind — of the action or event is governed by the ratios in which its basic elements are united in the event.
Now, from all this it might be supposed that there are no limits to the magnitude
