See white Originals Envelope for pages of typed and penciled notes and calculations by Heath not transcribed but clipped together with an identifying note (undated) in handwriting of Spencer MacCallum as follows:
“All part of the long and vain attempt to make some mathematical sense out of mass and distance and time = h erg-seconds, which only says in effect that 1 is equal to 1. This before Heath hit on the fact that what it does show is that events can be different in kind or quality while remaining equal to one another quantitatively. This came clear in October, 1955.” This note would approximate a verbatim quote from Heath.
