I am a quiet, persistent thinker, unemotional except for a strong positive reaction to Beauty, especially as manifested in the physiology and functioning of Nature’s highest life-form, the organization of living units called Society.

This gives me a body of conceptions that parallels, at the social level, all that science has revealed concerning the natural world and opens the social realm to the same and greater growth and control by the natural tendencies of human nature acting under business motivation for obvious advantage and without conscious altruism. These conceptions, wholly absent in the current or traditional sociology, are nevertheless so deeply rooted, so constructive and so consonant with all other knowledge that they inspire far more wonder than opposition and their practical application to social growth and rehabilitation depends only upon informed self-interest acting naturally and without violence or opposition.

I desire the pleasure of outlining these concepts and principles to a group of live minds — graduate students or equivalent with capacity for concise expression — with a view to their promotion as the foundation of the real /authentic?/ Science of Society.
