Dear Enid,

Somehow you have been of late rather more on my mind than you usually are, so just for no reason at all, I am sending you this little note to tell you so. There are few people more or less remotely connected with me towards whom my mind and heart turn often in a similar way. But somehow you seem to be just about at the top of that list. I look forward with pleasure to seeing you and all yours again whenever I can. Please tell them so for me.
