Dear Dr. Hamilton:

 

      I must thank you for the very pleasant little discussion I had with you on Thursday concerning beauty as the fountainhead of reason. A little writing of my own which I enclose may be of interest to you.

 

     I am happy whenever I find among natural scientists persons who are sensible of the esthetic and creative, not to say spiritual, in life.
