August 5, 1954
Gentlemen:
We have just finished re-reading the editorial in the “Consumers’ Research Bulletin” for February, 1954, on the injury inflicted on the public by labor monopoly. We write to suggest that you honor and profit yourselves and your magazine by getting permission from Consumers’ Research to publish this article in your very excellent and widely circulating “Readers’ Digest.”
We make this suggestion in the interest of public information on an important subject and the public welfare.
You owe us no thanks or obligation.
Sincerely yours,
Spencer Heath
