Letters to Raymond V. McNally, The Old Cottage, Monxton, near Andover, Hampshire, England, and Schuyler Warren, 10 Darlington Street, Bath, England
September 17, 1957
Dear Mr. McNally:
It is quite a surprise to learn from your letter of September 12th that you are now settled in England, and it is nice to receive your perceptive comments on my CITADEL, MARKET AND ALTAR, which I am happy to learn was forwarded to you.
Knowing that you and he have congenial ideas about religion and many other things, it occurs to me that you might like to be acquainted with my friend, Schuyler Warren, whose socially prominent mother was the founder, I believe, of The League for Political Education in New York. He is now retired and living at 10 Darlington Street, Bath, England.
I hope Andover is near enough to Bath that you may see each other once in a while. In any event, I think you will enjoy being in communication. I am sending a line also to him.
My congratulations on your present retirement, and with many best wishes to you and Mrs. McNally,
Cordially yours,
SH/m

Dear Mr. Warren:
I have had some very cordial and interesting letters from my friend, Raymond V. McNally, with whom I was associated for some years in the Henry George School of Social Science in New York. He is now retired and living at The Old Cottage, Monxton, near Andover, Hampshire, England.
Knowing that you and he have congenial ideas about religion and many other things, it occurs to me that it would be pleasant for you to be acquainted with each other. I hope Andover is near enough to Bath that you may see each other once in a while. In any event, I think you will enjoy being in communication. I am sending a line also to him.
With best wishes to you,
Sincerely,
SH/m
