No practice is widely denounced as evil until men aspire to a higher method and have not acquired the knowledge wherewith to practice it.

This applies to war, taxation, all generalized coercion, rulership, enslavement.

Enslavement is accepted as good until freedom is aspired. It can then only be denounced and endured until a knowledge of how to practice freedom is acquired.
