Mr. Spencer Heath:
Greetings:
After meeting you some time back I “filed” your address and only came upon it again these last few days.
I am sorry indeed for this mishap but such is life.
Herewith I send you a photo of the aeroplane “Express” named thus — as I flew it over the City of Los Angeles — Dec. 9, 1910 for the newspaper Express.
This was the first flight over Los Angeles — and your propeller did a fine job.
This machine was a large sized “Curtiss” which I built here for exhibition work and had front and rear elevators to help get it into and out of some of the half-mile tracks which were presented as flying fields.
My wish is that you are well and that you can find time to drop me a line — at your convenience.
Sincerely,
(Signed) Charles F. Willard
