A bystander has a right at Common Law to kill any aggressor who threatens another’s life. He has also the same right to save his own. This common law of man and God is not any legislative act of some or few men. That which serves Life is right. Any man has the right (but not the duty) to save a life or lives — including his own. This does not mean that he MUST kill under any circumstances. FREEDOM is the Key-note of life. In extreme circumstance instinct — animal or human — will take over in any case.
