The evils of society have no positive nature or effect. Their seeming power is due to our attitude and activity towards them. This consists of the misdirection of our own energy and its destructive, wasteful, uncreative employment. We give or lend our own power to destructive uses (as in maintaining government interference).
We also resist destructive agencies and activities when we should absorb them by creative energy under positive motivation. Resist not evil, but overcome evil with good.
There is no force in wind or wave but by resistance of ship or shore.
In personal relations evil forces derive their power from our attitude and reactions towards them.
