Item 655

Before Jesus Christ came into the world, all sovereignty was the imposition of slavery.

There was no history of the toiling, starving millions of mankind — and for them no hope. Every sovereignty was the imposition of slavery. All others could but toil and starve or fight and hopeless die.

There were religions in the world — for the few. These taught rulers to embalm their bodies in order to save their souls, but for the ruled there was no salvation of the body or of the soul.
