I think if people disagreed about whether twice two equals four, I’d argue only one side of it. Certain things are beyond the domain of controversy — and should be so if we’re ever going to have knowledge about anything. Faith is something we have about something when we don’t have knowledge. We don’t express our faith about something if we are absolutely sure about it.
