Random taping by Spencer MacCallum from conversation with Heath

After many years of mature deliberation, I can sum up epistemology in few words: To hell with it. I think it is near pathological, when people begin asking that kind of question that hasn’t anything to do with how they know a thing but whether or not they can know anything. The doubt that prompts them to ask that question. The proper question to ask is whether we can react to our environment, and the answer is that we not only can but we do and we must. And knowing is one way of reacting.
