Recollected by Spencer MacCallum shortly after a conversation at which he was present between Heath and Leonard Read, of the Foundation for Economic Education, Irvington, New York, in which Read was considering the question whether or not to buck the Georgists and publish Murray Rothbard's piece on land. The conversation was cut short by a telephone interruption. As I recall it, Read initiated the meeting to ask Heath's opinion as to whether he should publish the paper.
