The organic life of man is a true biologic progression from the basic to the metaphysical, constantly resolving the conscious into the unconscious and automatic. The base is the problems solved, goals achieved, the physical and mental mechanisms used but no longer known. The organic advance is at the level where the metaphysical is con­sciously wrought through the conscious into the basic. This is where the spiritual life functions consciously and is self realization and growth.
