Businessmen are much more hampered now in the conduct of their businesses than they were when I was in business. But with all that increase in the obstacles put in the path of business, there has still been a greater increase of production than there has of destruction in the last decade. And the national income, as I understand it, the gross national product, has been increasing at a more rapid rate than the government expenditures.
