Production is concomitant, distribution coincident with exchange. Consumption begins at the end point of exchange. There is no intervening distribution.

 

 

 

The materials of wealth are drawn by labor from Nature. While in the course of exchange they are CAPITAL. Capital is the substance and exchange the activity in production and distribution.

A MACHINE is its partially completed PRODUCT. A printing press is a partly completed book.
