This subscriber has been profoundly impressed by Mr. P. Le Corbuller’s /?/ article on “The Curvature of Space” in your November number. Since the idea was first proposed by a very young Doctor of Philosophy and was presented to his academic superiors without mathematical equations, it is good now to see something published in English that a plain layman may be able to understand.
Yet it may not be amiss to raise a few fundamental questions.
The thesis is that space is curved, that is dimensional, and that there are different kinds of curved spaces — an indefinite number of them — according as they have different kinds of curvature
