Item 1167
Carbon of letter from Heath at 312 Halesworth St., Santa Ana, California, to H.W. Luhnow, William Volker Fund, PO Box 113, Burlingame, California, August 24, 1961, and Mr. Luhnow’s response of August 28, 1961
Dear Mr. Luhnow:
In reminiscing about our very happy visit with you in your truly remarkable garden some months ago through the good offices of our friend, “Baldy” Harper, my grandson, Spencer MacCallum, and I have been doubting whether we ever sent you a copy of the Lord’s Prayer cast into words of one syllable in monkish manuscript form.
We are sending the enclosed by way of reminding ourselves and you of that very happy occasion, and again wishing you very happy progress in the fine things being done by you and your associates in the Volker Fund.
Sincerely yours,
Spencer Heath

Dear Mr. Heath:
Thanks for your note of August 24 together with a copy of The Lord’s Prayer. This is the first time we have seen this particular version and we appreciate your thinking of us.
We hope this finds you well, busy and happy.
