I am middle aged (in years only) social minded economically and I hope mentally emancipated — enough leisure to gratify my tastes. My interest is largely in the social sciences and in the fine arts as inspiration to constructive social change. My chief lack is human companionship with aesthetic and intellectual content. However, I am a painfully negligent and meager correspondent. Where do you live? My impression of you is that you are a forthright person who has found that the values of life do not lie in adhesion to prescribed formulas. Perhaps they are to be found in such spontaneous attitudes and reactions as seem to unfold the most of present beauty.
