Saturday Review of Literature
25 W. 45th Street, New York City
Dear Sir:
I am virtually alone in my country home per enclosed description (I have decided not to sell it) where I am engaged in some of the work often called “creative” — except when I am in New York, which is rather often.
I have practically everything necessary for physical comfort and do not need to use any part of my home for revenue. But I would like to share it with a person such as your advertisement in the Saturday Review of Literature suggests that you are.
Living expenses here are little more than nominal and conditions here should be optimum for your indicated purposes.
Where are you?
I expect to be in New York City (Kings Crown Hotel, 420
West 116th Street) January twelfth and some days following. I would like to see you there or elsewhere if possible.
Sincerely,
