Letter from Vivien Kellems, Stonington, Connecticut
September 20, 1954
Dear Mr. Heath:
Thank you so much for your nice letter of September 11 and the page from the Wall Street Journal which printed your letter in regard to the Constitution and the investigative powers of Congress. I agree with you one hundred percent.
I am indeed pleased that you liked my book and of course, if you pass it on it will all help. The book was sabotaged by the book stores and I am depending upon individuals to get circulation of it.
Am mixed up in the political campaign in Connecticut and you may be interested in my initial television broadcast. “The boys” are not happy but the campaign is getting louder and funnier and we are going to clean up a nasty situation before we’re through.
Thank you again.
Sincerely yours,
/s/ Vivien Kellems
