Carbon of letter to F.J. Schlink, Consumers’ Research, Inc. Washington, New Jersey
July 24, 1956
Dear Mr. Schlink:
Ever since I read Your Money’s Worth and became a subscriber to Consumers’ Research, I have held your work in very high esteem. I remember how happy I was that you were able to beat off the attack on your business and get well rid of the mutineers. It was therefore a special pleasure to me and to my grandson, Spencer MacCallum, to meet you at the meeting of AWARE last February.
The editorial page of your Bulletin is always interesting, often original and arresting. It occurs to me that the enclosed carbon copy of my letter to Mr. Hertz might afford some food for thought and possible editorial comment. If the idea seems good, push it along. Don’t bother about giving any credit to me.
Many good wishes and much success to you,
Sincerely,
SH/m
Encl.
