Dear Spencer Heath:

Thanks so much for your letter of November 17th which just arrived, and for your piece, “Solution for the Suez.” I have read this with both interest and approval and want to show it to my associates that they might share in it.

 I would like very much to meet with you on the question your raise and am sure a time agreeable to everyone can be arranged. I plan to be around here most of the time between now and the first of the year. Have you a time to suggest?
