The pale aesthetic hues of evening sky

  Hold tints of golden thought and azure peace

   As on this dreamy clover bed I lie

  And watch the glory of the daylight cease.

The fairy phantom time of quiet rest

  The hour of calm repose and peaceful glow

When day and night seem giving of their best

  And tranquil glory transforms all below.
