Carbon of letter to Helena Monbo, 281 South Main Street, Wharton, New Jersey
April 22, 1957
Dear Helena:
I am afraid I haven’t told you how happy I have been to know of your fine connection with RMI and its technical journal, “ROCKET”, So I am dropping you a line just to do so.
I never realized that you had literary and editorial talents along with your real genius for musical instruction and putting people’s personalities in better condition through the musical approach. I have rather feared that music and the development of voice control (the most important element in human communication) was losing something very precious in your dropping out from that field. I have even hoped that you might carry some of that along by the side of your current occupation.
Apropos of your musical interests, I enclose a sermon by my excellent friend, Donald Kring. I like it very much and I am sure you will too.
Also I enclose a copy of a proposal for a settlement of the Suez Canal problem along strictly non-political, free-enterprise lines, that we have been circulating. Purposes of my Science of Society Foundation also enclosed.
Now that you are strategically situated in a marvelous new field, I suspect you may find as much scope in it for exercise of your very great creative powers. I certainly wish you well in it and look forward to the pleasure of seeing you at least once in a while.
Cheerio,
