Dear Miss Pepper:

 

It was delightful having lunch with you today, reminiscing on old times and old ideas — and some not so old. I look forward to a fine evening with you early next week. Perhaps also with a grandson or two who may be with us.

 

 Meantime, I am sending you an additional copy of the Suez proposal so you can send one of them to your woman columnist friend, possibly with recommendation.

 

 I am keeping well in mind your recommendation of a little publicity cocktail party for the press and will pursue the matter further with our book promotion man at our next meeting in a day or two. I am glad to know you think it is such a good idea.
