I am grateful to you for the copy of “Citadel, Market and Altar” – a very intriguing title – and shall look forward to reading it.

 

 I am afraid you are too flattering in attributing to me a “great influence in the cause of human freedom”. I am now only a spectator, and a somewhat bewildered one at that.
