Dear Mr. Nelson:
I am exceedingly interested in your review of Amaury de Riencourt’s THE COMING CAESARS, appearing in the September 7th issue of “Human Events.” Your review makes me than ever determined to read this book thoroughly and as soon as possible.
Appreciating your general influence and many contributions to the cause of human freedom, I take special pleasure in presenting to you with my compliments an inscribed copy of my own recently published CITADEL, MARKET AND ALTAR.
I hope you will enjoy reading it and that you will be stimulated — perhaps also hopefully inspired — by some of its unusual points of view.
With my highest compliments, I remain

P.S. It was very kind of you to send me last April your generous comment on my proposal of a distinctly /?/ free-enterprise solution of the Suez Canal impasse.
