Letter to Heath from T.L. Carraway, 4892 Woodmont, Jackson, Miss.

October 3, 1957

Dear Sir:

The Southern Presbyterian Journal, 6/26/57, of which my family has been for years a subscriber, and small contributor, carried a report of your part on the Christian Economic Foundation program at the Great Northern Hotel, May 1 and 2, New York, New York,

I am very much interested in securing a copy of your address, “The Practice of Christian Freedom”.

I am in the Sales Department of the Sinclair Refining Company. Three years ago I was given the privilege and the responsibility as Chairman of an Industry group to work with our high school pupils, teachers, college people and teachers in on effort to better acquaint Education with economic fundamentals, American big and small business and our Free Enterprise system.

Above all things, I am championing moral principles of Christian teaching, preservation of our heritage of freedom and a more complete knowledge of American history.

Yours sincerely,

(signed) T. L. Carraway
