Gentlemen:
Once in a blue moon some competent mind embarks on a radically new kind of research in a field where confusion, conflict and contradiction have long held sway. Witness Copernicus, Galileo, Newton and Darwin. What made their work possible was that they had the nerve to turn away from customary thinking and make a fresh start along new and surer lines. Present day understanding of society, government and public affairs is similarly contradictory and confused. However a book is coming soon off the Yale University Press that is the work of a former research engineer reporting results of his 20 years examination of the voluntary, non-political organization of mankind from which all modern gains in wealth and life have sprung. It deals only with the creative relationships among men — whereby life is maintained and advanced. And it is wholly objective, as though the writer were describing how an automobile is constructed, how all the parts work together and to what end or result, to persons who had never learned how it was constructed and could not safely operate it
