Here’s a precept from out of my grave twenty years hence: Don’t ever let Citadel, Market and Altar become a Bible and containing the end and all of /every/thing. Treat it more as a prospectus. That’s the trouble with many an important work — it becomes an obstacle instead of a vehicle.
