Dear Mr. Friedman:

Replying to your recent latter (undated), I am pleased to submit the following original after-dinner speech. This might be especially suitable where the preceding speeches have been uninteresting or long:

 

Mr. Chairman. At this juncture, I shall be brief:

 

To be seen, one must stand UP.

To be heard, one must speak OUT.

To be appreciated, one must SIT DOWN.
