The higher order lies long latent before it wakens and evolves. It stirs in the yearnings of the heart from time of old, a dream of freedom and abundance for all, and none to be afraid. But age-long yearnings do not alone suffice. It cometh first dishonored and unknown, though bearing gifts of life to bless us blindly unawares. But age-long yearnings have not alone sufficed for its full and satisfying and unfading bloom. The society, through its liberated, dispassionate and creative minds, must come conscious of itself, of its mode of action, as integrated, through its free and reciprocal relations — and through these alone — with the creative Cosmic Whole.
