Dear Mr. Heath:

 

Congratulations on your eighty-fourth birthday! And the recent celebration at St. James Church on Lido Isle.

 

I am sorry that the press of business and other obligations prevented Mrs. Knott and I from joining with your many other friends in this observation.

 

I enjoyed our recent visit very much. My person­al program, California Free Enterprise Association, has been getting some recent interesting publicity. I only hope that it results in some concrete action on the part of interested business people.
