Item 1391
Carbon of a letter from Heath to Percy R. Williams, Executive Secretary, Henry George Foundation of America, 809 Keystone Building, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
July 29, 1941
Original is missing.
Dear Mr. Williams:
I have been away in Canada and New York quite a good /deal/ lately so your letter of July 18th has only recently overtaken me.
However if it is not too late I shall be glad to take a place on the program and to entertain some serious and forward-looking discussions both from the floor and or around the table at the Sixteenth Annual Henry George Congress, as your letter suggests.
Please notify me as to what place on the program I have been assigned, preferably on the first or second day, so there will be more time for informal discussions afterwards.
I shall be very happy to assist and to be assisted by all those who believe there is more light to be found and are seeking it.
Sincerely yours,
Please accept and convey my best personal regards to yourself and your devoted associates.
