Gentlemen:

I note by your advertisement in today’s edition of the Daily Californian that you have a pamphlet available by one Spencer Heath which purports to be an exposé of Henry George’s Progress & Poverty. Since there are a number of Georgites in this area whom I have met in the course of interviewing various people over radio station KPFA, I wonder if it might be possible sometime, if Spencer Heath comes to this area, to engage him in a debate with one or two of these Georgites, such as J. Rupert Mason or Glenn Hoover.

I would appreciate your putting this suggestion in the hands of Mr. Heath.

Very truly yours,

(signed) Robert R. Schutz
Associate in Business Administration
