In any two the third is implicit. In any one the remaining two are implied.
Duration — The final term or ultimate term in the hierarchy of reality. Motion emerges out of Mass, duration out of Mass and Motion. Motion is potential in Mass; duration is potential in Mass and Motion. Duration (time) is change. Change, as duration, must be in the direction of complexity if it is to be real, enduring — to have duration. Duration, then, involves an indefinite progression into organic heterogeneity. All retrogression towards homogeneity, is disintegration towards mass without change or with only potential change — without duration — hence without reality. Only change in the positive sense, in the sense of progression into ever higher organic complexities can possess, manifest or be indefinite duration — The Ultimate Reality.
