Item 1938
Carbon of a letter to George S. Montgomery, Jr. 488 Madison Avenue, New York, New York 22.
October 29, 1956
Dear Mr. Montgomery:
Returning to New York for a fortnight or so, I remember my very pleasant contacts with you through FOR AMERICA and your kindly attention to the matter of my Science of Society Foundation.
I have now incorporated this Foundation in Maryland, as you seemed to consider advisable for me to do. The two little pamphlets enclosed /”Notes on the Organization of Real Estate” and “Society and Its Services”/ indicate some of its beginning activities, and might interest you as pointing up the next almost certain step in the continuing evolution of free enterprise.
My grandson and I are here in New York partly for the purpose of attending the meeting of the Alliance tomorrow night. I shall be very happy to see you there or at the coffee hour which, I presume, will follow it.
Thanking you for your many kindnesses, I remain
Sincerely yours,
SH/m
