Dear Sir:

Trusting that you received our letter of January 16th with our enclosures bearing upon the fallacies of land-value taxation as proposed by those who would destroy property in land. Since that time we have prepared for publication a further commentary on the basic tenets of land communism as set forth and approved by Prof. Glen Hoover in the Freeman Magazine and also upon an article by Prof. Frank Knight supposedly in opposition.

We trust you will think favorably of our efforts to spread some enlightenment as to the supreme social functions performed by property in land and the misleading fallacies of those who advocate its abolition.

With every good wish and anticipating your acknowledgements we remain,

Very truly yours,

S.H.

Dear Mr. Clark:

In our previous communications we have set out some of the fallacies of those who under the guise of “Land Reform” are seeking to “socialize” land and are unwittingly inviting a communistic control over sites and resources and thereby over all that remains of our heretofore “free economy.”

The present letter is to call your attention in a positive way to the fundamental nature of the institution of property in land, and how the evolution of real estate administration in the form of community-wide organizations of real estate and its services can eventually redeem mankind from the present big-government trend. We trust you will find the three enclosed booklets interesting and of some value towards a constructive understanding of our basic social institution.

Again with our best salutation and regards, we remain

Sincerely yours,

    S.H.
