My dear Spencer Heath –
May I tell you what a pleasure it was to spend those very short two hours with you on Thursday evening? Somehow I felt that our objectives — and the ideals for attaining them, are running along the same channels. Perhaps it is a mutual “Inspiration of Beauty.”
I have telephoned the /L.P./ Boudlers and Gerry Walsh — Palmquists do not seem to be at home. Miss Walton our Secretary should be here next week (Atlantic 7994). Perhaps you could see her.
Do let me know when you are here again — and many thanks for that nice dinner.
Sincerely,
(signed) Margaret Bateman
