Item 3101
Letter to Heath at Harvey Mudd College, Claremont, California from Ivan R. Bierly, Liaison Officer, William Volker Fund, Post Office Box 113, Burlingame, California, with penciled notation from Heath
November 7, 1960
Dear Mr. Heath:
Could you send me two or three copies of your little booklet that was written some years ago in answer to the Henry George’s position on the Single Tax Issue? An acquaintance in San Francisco is trying to convert me to the virtues of the single tax idea, and if I recall correctly your answer on this subject was the best one that I have ever seen, and I no longer have a copy of it immediately at hand.
I remember our brief visit in Claremont a year or so ago with much pleasure, and do regret that circumstances so far seem to have conspired to prevent a continuation of that conversation. Will hope to rectify this situation in the not-too-distant future.
With all good wishes,
Cordially,
/s/ Ivan R. Bierly
Liaison Officer
